The Inspire MEdicine Conference
This years InspireMEdicine conference is on the 23rd of January at UCL. The paeds section will again have their own workshop, run by Save a Baby's Life UCL- so if you want to learn some infant first aid, sign up for a paeds workshop!
Other speakers at the conference include Professor Jane Dacre, giving out keynote speech, and Professor Jenny Higham speaking out how medicine and a personal life can be managed together. With all the negativity surrounding junior doctors at the moment, come along and be inspired again.
Tickets are only £3 for MedSoc members and £5 for non-members.
MedSoc Mondays: Battle of the Specialties!
October 12th 2015
On October 12th, MedSoc hosted their first MedSoc Monday for this academic year.
Paediatrics battled it out against anaesthetics, radiololgy, psychiatry and obstetrics and gyanecology.
We came a triumphant second place with the title going out to psychiatry.
A huge thank you to Dr Meret and Elizabeth from Great Ormond Street Hospital and a thank you for all who attended on Monday!

The MedSoc Disney Quiz
December 10th 2015
A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Great Ormond Street fundraising Disney Quiz! Thanks especially to our wonderful committee who organised questions, scouted for prizes and even went trekking in the rain for pizzas.
We raised over £640, with over £200 of this coming from our raffle. With prizes like tickets to see the Lion King and ticket for the aquarium, I think all the winners were pleased!
